Exercises for Trigger Finger

#1 Finger Abduction
- Put your hand in front of you.
- Extend the affected finger and a normal finger.
- With your thumb and index finger from the opposite hand, gently press your extended fingers together.
- Your index finger and thumb should apply a little bit of resistance as you separate your two fingers.
- Hold the position for a few seconds before returning to the starting position.
- Five repetitions are equal to a single set.
- Repeat this exercise three times throughout the day.

#2 Finger Spread
- You will begin by pinching the tips of your thumb and fingers.
- Put a rubber band around your pinched fingers.

- You can repeat this exercise at least three times throughout the day.
#3 Hand Pick-Ups
- Spread an assortment of objects like coins, buttons, marbles and tweezers on a flat surface.

- Move the objects on the opposite side or to a designated container.
- Continue by repeatedly picking up each object for 5 minutes. Do this exercise twice a day.
